It reflects traditional craftsmanship from Burkina Faso and northern Ghana. After import, each marimba instrument is cleaned, inspected, tuned, and played individually to ensure optimal sound and quality.
- 14 KEYS IN KEY OF C-C# FOR RICH TONALITY – Featuring 14 keys tuned in the C pentatonic scale (+/- 1/4 step), this xylophone offers a rich, earthy sound. The large gourds beneath the lower notes amplify the tones and create deep, resonant sounds with an extra-long decay. The heat-dried keys help maintain tonality and prevent cracking.
- SOLID FRAME CONSTRUCTION & DURABILITY – Built with a solid frame using hardwood, leather, and rope, this xylophone is designed for long-lasting durability. The low notes are arranged to rake upward, allowing space for the larger gourds, ensuring maximum resonance and sustain.
