Anger and its Origin: Did We Receive Toxic Words in Childhood?

Anger is a bona fide issue, surely.Do human beings have the same origins for their anger, as other life forms, however?Freud and Einstein, both Jews, for instance, were much taken by how aggressive some people could be:They corresponded with each other, about war.Similarly, Erich Fromm wrote a book, "The Heart of Man".He also wrote "The Art of Loving".Yet, are ALL people of the same mold?Also, are animals OTHER than HUMAN BEINGS, SUBJECT to this phenomenon?The author is no stranger to having experienced anger. He, like most of us, has experienced many anger "triggers" in life, from not having been able to pursue music as a career, to not having been able to attend medical school... This book is a distillation of his thinking on anger and its origins. As fueled by an electrical engineering background from West Point, as well as four years' study of solely Mathematics, starting at the age of 41, at Berea College. It also incorporates what he learned from having spent fifteen years with the learning program known as SuperMemo, in which the creator of such, a computer scientist in Poland, had told him, fifteen years ago, that he might have essentially attained a world record in the use of the software. It is also colored by his time on Cherokee and Navajo Indian reservations and having attended an all-black kindergarten in inner-city Detroit.The book takes the concept of the psychologist Winnicott and expands the thinking on the topic of the "Good-Enough Mother". This author speculates that "good-enough" love is essentially "good-enough" words we hear, as we grow up.His own vocabulary is fueled by much time having been unplugged, growing up. His mother is a war refugee from the furthest eastern reaches of Poland, who came to Ellis Island when twelve, knowing no English. The author also spent much of his time in Minnesota, where long, cold winters dictated above-average time indoors. He likens some of his experiences, in their own way, to those of Tenzin Palmo, a Buddhist:"Despite many hardships and life-threatening experiences, Tenzin Palmo thrived in her solitary spiritual practice and lived in [a] cave for 12 years... He spent his summers on his grandparents' farm in Michigan.He has attended one hundred sessions of Shambhala Meditation Center, and was once a member of The Gurdjieff Club, as perhaps its only American member. He also studied Suzuki violin with a teacher at MacPhail Center for Music, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and with a top violin teacher at the University of Kentucky, John Lindsey, his senior year of high school:"John Lindsey holds the highest rank for a SUNY faculty member, the State University of New York's Distinguished Service Professorship, presented to him in 2009. Professor Lindsey was on the violin faculty at Crane from 1981 to 2016."
