This MRC 5300-C series double-row double sealed ball bearing has a medium duty designation and is suitable for use where a single-row ball bearing is inadequate to support the radial load. The bearing's angular contact geometry supports both radial and axial loads and its bearing races have contact angles that converge outside the bearing to increase its resistance to misalignment. The bearing has chrome steel bearing balls, a pressed steel cage, and normal clearance. The bearing has rubber seals on both sides of the bearing to keep the lubricant in and contaminants out and has a pressed steel cage to prevent the balls from coming into contact with each other during use, reducing friction, vibration, and noise. The bearing has a normal radial internal clearance designation, making it suitable for applications where the load and speeds do not result in thermal expansion.
