The Skullgard™ Full Brim helmets with FasTrac III® Ratchet Suspension suspension are designed to protect your head from heat. They’re ideal for work environments that contain high heat but can be used for many other environments. The major difference between these products and our other hard hats is the material. Since these hard hats are made of fiberglass, they can withstand temperatures that standard plastic cannot. The strips of fiberglass material are what give these hats the great thermal protection that they enjoy. Skullgard fiberglass hard hats are top products for individuals who work in the welding, building construction and ship building industries. These particular helmets come with a FasTrac III® Ratchet Suspension suspension, so you can make quick adjustments and get an optimal fit. The Skullgard™ hard hats also meet the ANSI requirements for Type I helmets. Although they provide exceptional protection against high-heat environments, they can also protect your head from top impacts. Each Skullgard™ hard hat can withstand temperatures that don’t exceed 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The smooth crown design is stylish and functional.
