Purple Pixie Loropetalum is the weeping loropetalum every gardener has been dreaming about. Purple Pixie is a dwarf loropetalum only reaching 1-2 feet tall and still possesses that dark deep rich purple foliage along with pink strap like blooms in spring. You can't go wrong with purple pixie as it can be planted in container gardens, window boxes, and even hanging baskets. When planting this Loropetalum, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in spring. Not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
